The Hunt Never Ends....
Old buck Adidas decided to stop by his local watering hole this weekend. Adidas and I have quite the history; multiple sheds, years of pictures, and sightings.

Last year he disappeared, but now he's back. Enjoy

I am fairly certain he is at a minimum of 8.5, but could be 9.5 this fall. He used to bachelor with Popcans back in his younger days, and it looks like he was trained well on how to survive. :)

sureshot, looking at the 3 yrs of pictures im not so certian that its the same deer. of course i could be wrong, but if i had to guess looking at those pictures i would say its not the same deer. Not that im trying to discredit you in anyway.. hes a awesome deer! just giving ya my 2 cents! , great picts!

No offfense taken! I literally have 1000's of photos of this buck over the years. His mainbeams curve the same, same shape in the G2s.....brow tines....but, what gives it away the most is the notch in his right ear (you will have to look closely at the pics I posted 2008 vs 2011).

I have seen some of the whitetails on my farms change quite a bit over the years. Heck, I had one buck I had pictures of that I called Popcans go from a clean 10, to forked G2s, to double drops, to double flyers, and the final years I had pictures of him he had a double mainbeam (History from 2.5-10.5).

If I may ask, why don't you believe he's the same buck? Just curious to what your thoughts are.....maybe I overlooked something.
 
I kinda see where Mnshedhunter is coming from. 08 n 09 deer look alot alike but things are def diff this year. Deer do change. Obviously you have plenty of history and pics with this buck so i dont doubt you that it is the same deer. Good luck.
 
Whether it's the same deer or not, I'd give anything to live and hunt in an area where bucks have half a prayer of making it to age 5 or 6, let alone 8 or 10!
 
the similarities are pretty obvious to me, great pix, Chris! KILL HIM!
 
sureshot, like yourself i have watched dozens of bucks grow up over the years on my trail cams! if you have that many pictures of him then i trust your judgement! the 2009 pict and video i thought looked like a different buck than the 08 picture!, the o8 buck has what looks to be taller brows that are bladed and a wide frame, the 09 video looks like a more narrow tall rack and shorter not bladed brows! throat patches and nose markings match, so your probably right!
the new 2011 pict i thought looked like he might be a great 3 or 4 year old buck because he has his g2 and g3s stacked tight in the back, normally a sign of a buck that is setting up to add points the next year! and i have not seen many older bucks push there 2s and 3s together as they get over 5 while loosing lenght on there 4s or dropping points! but i have seen some racks change pretty dramatically over the years also. like you say, Nice buck! what years did you pull sheds off him?
 
I say I like your Cuddeback picture the best. How many brands of cameras are you supporting now Sureshot?

Its the same buck. If he is friends with your Popcans buck then he is a master of changing his appearance.

Love the history. I wish I could get a history like this with some deer.
My history consists of hey look at this nice buck on my trail cam...The first week of november there is a picture of him in the back someone's truck in the gas station.

Anyways awesome buck, i think if he is 9+ you should probably take him this year.
