African rifle minimum caliber

Can anyone tell me if there is a minimum caliber requirement to hunt Africa. If so what is it????

I believe it depends on the game you are after. Dangerous game I always thought it was .375, but different countries could be different.

I'd just make sure it's large enough to drop a lion dead in it's tracks.
