This deer has thrown a few people... I have heard anywhere from 2 1/2 to 5 1/2... and quite honestly, I have no idea... help?

I would agree - maybe 5.5. But, like everything else, it's only a best-educated-guess until he's on the ground.

Cool looking buck - I sure appreciate the looks of deer that are considered 'mature.' :way:

Seems like that's more the case with those kinds of deer. They seem to be a whole nother breed of whitetail. Those are the deer I grew up hunting in North Central Iowa. Some dandies come along but seems like come hunting season they live on fence rows and pheasant hunting are the only one to see em.

They don't all grow big racks, but that is a 4 yr old or older....

Looks like a huge body and quite a bit of grey in the face. I'd agree with 4.5+ but a few more pics would really help.

If he's a bully and over 3.5 I'd put him down.
