I found his sheds this past spring. They are each 4 pt sides, left side was 49" and the right 45" Judging by his sheds, he is just 3.5er this year.
Looks like he's going to be a 9 pt
Any guesses on the score? Also, when will this ugly hair disappear?

Is that date correct on the picture? It looks like when the picture was taken he still had some tine length to add on his 2s and 3s and his beams... he's a dandy 8 pointer thats for sure. I don't know about the score, 130s for sure I'd say. I'd shoot him

Ugly hair? I think he is losing his summer coat, which most are starting to do now. Good luck with him.

Good buck, as far as the coat goes we saw 3 bucks last night completely out of their summer coats, nice and dark grey, was a good sight and really gave me the itch to be in the stand

Sure looks older than 3 and more like 140 as is to me, but its possible. If he is just 3 and his sheds both scored under 50 inches last year, LOOK OUT! Just imagine if he packs on that many inches again next year!

I think he still has a good deal of growing left to do at the time of this picture as well.
Keep your eye on him Tim and thanks for sharing.

just a guess,

135"-145"
at the very youngest he looks to be 3.5, but that is just a hard call to make, i would say he is mature for sure, potbelly and swayback.....
shooter for sure
good luck!!

I have looked at this picture a lot and I think he might be a ten or if not just a nine. I also think he isn't done growing. However very nice deer and it would be a tough choice when he walked underneath the stand.

Here are a few more pics. A couple more of him.

And then a picture of him & his buddy he showed up with from my Age#2 post.
