Once again, my three hunting buddies and I had an awesome 2nd season hunt. 4 big birds down by Friday morning before 10am. Ranged from 20 to 23 lbs, 9 inch to 11 inch beards, and just under an inch spurs to long, sharp 1.5 inch hooks. 2 of the kills we got on tape.....something that we have tried to do several times but have gotten rained out with the camera in past years.
Once again, it goes to show that the extra trips for scouting, building blinds and roosting birds is absolutely vital to success in our book.
Ended out the weekend by working cattle and doing some great bass fishing......what a great time.
