My wife, with all great intentions, bought me a Wildview digital game cam.

I instantly thought to myself, " this thing will be lucky if it even works" It came with a 128 mb card and batteries, so for what she paid for it....59 bucks, I figured what have I got to lose? The card being worth allmost half what the whole package cost.
I grabed the camera and instructions and sat down to get it set up. Was I impressed. The set up is absolutely the easiest of any camera I've done.
Trigger time is about 4 seconds, and the camera can be set at 2 or 1.3 mp.
Photo quality isn't anywhere near my 2 mp homebrews but for the money as a scouting cam is acceptable. The flash is ok but does wash out animals that are very close.
I have a feeling that battery life will be less than stellar but I
haven't had it out long enough yet to check that out.

I'll get it back out today and keep track of the number of pics I get out of the batteries, ( 4 C's ) that were included with the camera.
By the way, she found the camera in the bargain area of Sam's Club. I think normal price is 99.99 at Cabelas.

Ended up with about 160 pics before the low battery light came on. Then squeaked out another 40.
So, about 200 pics from 4 C cells. That was in warm weather.

Jay I bought 2 of those same cameras and I believe I gave $80 a piece from Cabelas in K.C. and thought why not. Only problem I seen was trigger time and was loosing some photos and some corn a little later or set up on a scrape or rub proved off.

Correct about the wash out if to close and noticed that in a low lieing area the flash will go off if the tree cover is good enough and then you get a wash out also.

For the money it is a good camera IMO
