Another I-40 question

I got the first pics back from our new Moultree i-40 and they look great, I'm very impressed. One thing I noticed though is I don't have one after dark pic. We have some very late evening and early morning pics that are gray in color, but nothing from the middle of the night. We had the cam hung for over a week and with 48 daylight pics of deer I have a hard time believing nothing came by after dark. Is there some setting I missed when placing the cam? The book says nothing about a special setting for night pics. Any info. is greatly appreciated, this area holds a very large, mostly nocturnal buck that we'd like to get on film.

That is weird. I would call them and see what's up. I have sent back two cameras to them and they have taken care of it pretty quick. Their number is 1-800-653-3334.

you may need to have the software update?
they are good units as I have 4 and they shoot thousands of pics.

I gave Moultree a call this morning, they said the cameras are triggered by a heat source, therefore they don't "know" if it's dark or not, apparently I have a lot of daylight-loving deer, nice problem to have. /forum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif If the next card doesn't have any night pics he recommended taking the cam down, bringing it home and walking by it at night in the yard.
