I have a couple more questions for you guys:)

1. I was looking at the forecast for this week and it looks like rain all week:thrwrck: so i was wondering, can you hunt turkeys in the rain?

2. This is probably a stupid question but where do you shoot a turkey? in the head or in the body?

thanks or your help:)

1. I love hunting rainy days. If it's not a monsoon, turkeys will be in the fields and very visible. I have killed alot of birds in the rain, IMO it doesn't seem to effect their response. They are looking for the last available hens this time of year and rain or no rain they will still be on the prowl.

2. Head shots are always best gun or bow. If you are hunting with a gun, head only unless you want to break your teeth on shot. Where the neck meets the body is a great spot aim as this will center the head and neck in your pattern. Use a full choke and try not to shoot over 30 yards and you will be successful.

Good luck!
