Antler Development!

I put one of my cameras out last night over some mineral. I had pretty good succes with 60 pictures in less then 24 hours. I would say that there was 4 or 5 different bucks in the pics with antlers ranging from 1 inch to around 4 inches or so. This will be the first summer I have had cameras out so it should be fun watchin them grow. How long does it usually take for the deer to reach full antler development???

Mid August they should be finished growing with velvet shedding around the first week of September.

In some cases though, thats like saying all bucks shed their antlers in February.

I would love to post the pics but I am still unable to get them shrunk to the proper size. I will have to spend some time and see what I can come up with.
