any different seat options for API hang on stands?

I have seen a few threads on different hunting forums recently about people swapping seats on theirs stands out for more comfortable ones.

I have a couple API alumilock stands that have very uncomfortable "sling" type seats. I have a couple with thicker sling seats with foam in them that are not too bad. Just the basic unpadded sling seats are very uncomfortable. I got with API and thought about switching the others to the padded seats, but those take a different front bar that they don't sell separate.

Has anyone thought of, or tried any other kind of seat to make their API's more comfortable? It might not even be possible the way they are built with the front bar that folds down.

I have 31 stands, and over half are the sling seats. Even foam padding on the bars won't help after 5 hours on stand. Much less all day! I seldom hunt all day out of these type of stands due to older legs, and poorer blood circulation. I still use them however with a seat pad that snaps to your belt or belt loop for turkey hunting. It conforms to all the sling seats, and makes them much more comfortable.

I thought about trying that but didn't want any extra scent in the area.

I think i will. They are so uncomfortable it is worth a try. Thanks.
