I've kept my cameras out with corn piles and mineral and my one camera got 4,470 pictures in 5 days...all of does! Not a single buck! Other camera got 700 pictures in 4 days all of does. The bucks were there during the summer last year. Could different food sources mess them up? I'm going to move my cam and see what happens at another area. Hopefully my luck will change and I'll have some decent bucks show up.

I'll check my other cam which has been out a entire week tomorrow on my good farm (no corn or mineral). Decent bucks have been showing up on that one and quite a few does. I know where they'll be during rut now at least.

I am in MN and around here (Ortonville area) it seems that deer tend to flock to the standing corn around here and I have mostly beans around our property. But there is 2 standing corn fields butting up to our property and with my experiences it just seems they suck right into the corn. I've had the same problem with limited bucks showing up on camera, but as soon as the corn is out around here the deer flock to the timber. Now last year I had standing corn around our property and I got tons of pictures of bucks. That is one of the main reasons I havnt been bummed out yet because as soon as the corn comes out the deer will be forced to move to other cover. Don't know if that helps your ease of mind or not;)

The problem now is the does are boss and the bucks dont want to deal with the stress [they can do that]. This time of the year the boss does and their family group rules. The bucks are grouped up, so you either have all or none of them. Some of my best spots now also are all does. Best bet is to put time in glassing your beanfields for the buck groups, then move corn and a camera to the edge of the field with a good panorama view of the bean field as a background.

Ditto! Don't sweat it if you're getting pictures of LOTS of does. To be completely honest with you, it's a good thing! I used to get frustrated when I would run cameras on one of my farms and get no pictures of bucks....or very few bucks, but tons of does. What's funny, is that this particular farm has turned into my 'go-to' farm come fall, and the farms where all of my bucks are don't seem to produce as much come season.

If you've got the does right now, then "you're doing something right!" The bucks don't want to deal with the nagging alpha does and their groups right now...so they'll leave. However, as fall approaches, they change into a different animal....and the areas with the does, will hold the bucks! Keep your cameras up....and you'll witness this......

Good luck! :way:

August and September are always better months for getting pics of big bucks for us. July is a hit or miss. My buddy shot a booner the first weekend of bow season last year. We only had two pics of that deer the whole summer. All of the sudden the first week of the season he was showing up on a regular basis during shooting hours. Like clock work, that deer walk right in front of my buddy and after only two hours clocked in the stand , he was tagged out with a 171" typical.
Point being, don't get frustrated if you are not seeing a ton of shooter bucks. As the seasons change, so will their patterns. No need to even mention the rut. We all know how that can bring tons of new deer you never saw before. Having a bunch of does is a good thing. My advise is to leave the does alone and be patient. Only a matter of time before a wall hanger comes your way.
