Are you having good night pictures? What are you using for your settings?
Just bought one yesterday, so far not impressed with night pictures. But, this was just a test of me walking by it.

I got one about a month ago but set it on video. Most vids are at night and are pretty good if the subject is within 20'. I haven't tried pics yet but I did set it on the lowest sensitivity which is what my other trophy cam is set on which supposedly the way to go.

I dont have the 2012 model. I got 2010 & 2011 i think. None have ever taken great nightime photos. Pics arent very sharp. I have tried all settings and nothing helps. I just think this is the best these cams are capable of.

I'm having terrible luck, I posted this here a while back, still haven't figured it out. I really like the 2010 8GB models:

Has anyone used the newer 2012 model with the Black LED's?

I had one out for a month and am disgusted with the performance. I've had mutiple Bushnell's over the past few years and this, the highest priced one, is the worst performer by a mile. I've had great luck with the older ones, but I can't even begin to explain how cruddy the night time pictures are on the newer one. They only deer that were captured had to be perfectly still and only 5-7 yards away. Every other deer was a streaky blur or I only saw eyes 20 yards away. If any of you have one and have had success, please offer up suggestions on settings...

Unfortunately I deleted every picture I had out of disgust or I'd show you.

My advice - STAY AWAY!

I have the Bushnell BF model 119466 (actually 7 of them) and run them all on videos. I have run them on pic mode and am not overly impressed with the night pics. However, I run all mine on videos and they work great. Make sure you use 1.5V ultimate lithium batteries.

What are your setting?

I run them on "normal" sensor and video length of 20 seconds or so with 25 second delay between videos. Over minerals or feed in the summer I will set delay for 1 or 2 minutes. It is also very important on how these cameras are angled. I usually put mine up about shoulder height with a slight angle down. Correct angle is very important.
