I don't duck hunt but heard a crap load of shooting around my house this morning before I left for work

We went out as always. It was a blast but not as fast paced as it has been in the past. We ended up shooting 43 ducks total for the weekend which was fantastic. However, it would have been better if a lot of the public land around us had the ponds they usually do instead of dried up basins to help keep the ducks flying around.

Went out both today and yesterday. This was the first time that I went out. Saturday morning there was a alot of shooting around us. I went 0-5...
Went out this morning and saw about the same amount of ducks as Saturday. However, this morning I shot my first duck! It was a beautiful drake wood duck. I am pretty happy with my first duck hunt!

Went out to my special place on public ground we shot 20 ducks the first morning and then sunday took us a little bit longer but we scratched out 14 for the day. Was tough standing out on that log all day on Sunday. But do what ya love! No one will believe me when I say this but the last duck of the day we were talking bout how nice it would be if these ducks would fall closer to us and be cool to catch one. No more than 10 minutes later this duck came by my buddy he shoots it and he ends up catching the duck in his hand what an ironic funny ending to a good morning hunt.
