API Climber fix

I found a soulution to repair the hard plastic that API puts on thier climbing stands. 1-4ft piece of 1" double wall shrink tubing and 2- 3/4" pieces of single wall. You run the double wall in the middle of the chain and use the the single wall on the ends that slide into the stand. It's more flexible and shouldn't crack like the other stuff, I'll let you now how it works.

Where did you find the shrink tube? Mine has been in need for some time now.

Mine wore out also. I used black washmachine hose. It was a little tight so I soaked it in boiling water for awhile, and pulled the chain through. It's on there for good now. And I don't see it wearing out any time soon. You would think API could of came up with something a little tougher.

Modify it until it's right.
