avator pictures

Hey does anyone know how to shrink a picture's size down to make it small enough to upload into your avator. It keeps telling me that it can only be 100,000 bytes or less, but I don't know how to make it that small... Any help would be greatly appreciated.. Thanks

has to be smaller than 120X120 . Using your picture software, select image sixe and change it to that.
