My wife got me a double bull blind for are anniversery. Greatest gift I ever received. I filled my tag almost a month ago but took your guys advice and went out to rattle for a friend of mine. We decided to try out my new blind. Had several does come by. Rattled in a 130 class 8pt but he wouldnt come across the river. Then just before dark I did some more rattling I heard a buck grunting as he was coming across the river but I couldnt see him. Then it was like he disappeared. On the opposite side of where we were looking a doe started stomping at us. While were checking out the doe a 140 class eight pt was walking right in front of us. We were fumbling around trying to get in position to shoot out of one of the other holes making way to much noise. The buck stopped and was staring at us but wasnt spooked. Then my buddy
shot and missed. The buck ran just out of range and blew and stomped at us for about ten minutes and walked off.
Even though he didn't get the buck it was an awesome hunt. Its cool to be at ground level with the deer. I havent had that much fun hunting in along time. Hell I was shaking and I didn't even have to shoot at anything.
