Great video! It's from a site called accuratereloading.com. They used to have around 50 or so videos of people shooting that gun and others. The rifle in this clip is a nasty beast. It's called the .577 T-Rex. Nasty recoil. I would sure like to touch off a round or so though!

I'm sure it would be punishing Rack, for sure. Just would like to say I did it. To put it in perspective here's some numbers....A 22 rimfire has a recoil factor of less than 4. A 30.06 has a factor of 223 with recoil energy of 20 lbs. A 458 Win. mag is 997 R.F. with 78.7 lbs. That .577 T Rex has a recoil factor of 4768 and 168.5 lbs. recoil energy. That's a lot of kick! I wish they still had all the clips on that site as they are great. Bench shooting that gun is BAD!

Shovel, I've taken my turn at the Gun Club shooting the .458 Win. I figured I might need to use my right arm again sometime in the future so 2 shots were enough for me. I can't even begin to imagine what that "BEAST" would kick like with the numbers you put up.....WOW!
