I was putting up fence last week and came across a heart breaking find. It was a dead fawn. It had'nt been dead for long because it wasn't stiff at all and it's eyes weren't fogged over. I rolled it over a noticed a it was a buck. I put it in the back of the truck and called a DNR officer in my county to see if he new if a local habitat exhibit would want it as a mount. I didn't figure they would due to contraversery, and they didn't. I know of a guy who has one mounted bedded down in fake grass under a glass coffee table. That crossed my mind but I could bring myself to do it! I would guess it was still born due to it not being filled out. Anyway, thought I'd share!
