Back from the Taxidermist

I got my 2003 bird back from the taxidermist on Monday. I never thought it was going to get here but it was worth waiting for. He was my first spring gobbler with a bow so I wanted to keep him. To top it off, my wife loves it.

He scored 72 using the NWTF scoring system.

Nice mount Rack. Looks like he has some sharp spurs. How long are they?

Nice bird Rack!I like the shed thrown into the mix.Look's like a heck of a set of spur's!!What did they measure?

The spurs measured 1 3/8" both sides, and the beard is 11 1/2".

Muddy, Although she said she loved it, I'm willing to bet it won't end up in the bedroom.

Pharmer, At the moment he has no name but I think "Muddy" has a nice ring to it.
