Back Packs for LW

Hey all,

I know everyone is pushing the Badlands 2200 Pack. But someone else posted a cheaper backpack that would hold the Alpha that they bought at cabelas. Ive looked for the last 2 hours and cant find the thread. /forum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/frown.gif

Anyone know any other options of something simialer to Badlands that will carry a LW stand.

This is what I use when I want to keep the weight down and bring as little into the woods as needed.

I realize you're looking for a pack to carry the stand, but I just thought I'd throw this at ya. I picked up a pair of "Claw" pack straps, which are excellent as far as adjustability and the rubberized pads grip your clothing well to keep the stand from slopping around. If you pack the sticks as designed, you have some space to strap packs/rattling antlers to the side. I use a Cat Quiver 1 and small bunge straps with a ball type end.

I initially wondered if the stand would be uncomfortable to carry without a pack padding my back, but found it to be just fine. I've packed into some of the roughest ground in NE Iowa with this setup and found it excellent.
