Back to the scene of the crime

Well I got Lane out of school early Thursday and we headed south. We went back to the same spot that Lane missed 2 different toms the week before. We saw a lot of birds there so I felt real good about the set up. Right away we had a tom come out and he looked like he was going to come in, but then 3 jakes came out and he chased them over the hill. We did some calling but the turkey just were not coming in to calls. Around 6pm i looked out the back of the blind and there were 2 toms coming our way. A little movement of the pretty boy and it was hook line and sinker! Now Lane just needed revenge. And revenge he got! Dropped him in his tracks! What a great end to the youth season.
