That kind of reminds me a situation I had a few years ago. I had a buck right underneath me that I thought was probably quite mature age wise, but his rack was no more than a craggy 8 point in the low 120's range. Altough I cannot say for sure, I would have guessed this deer to be over 5 years old based upon body size and features.
In your experience, how "small" antler wise can a 4 plus year old buck be? They don't all grow 150"+ I suppose.
