I was just wondering what the hunting season on a badger is..Last nite I saw one, and I really dont want one near my house, so I was just curious when I could hunt it...if I could at all...any info is appreciated....thanks

When I lived in Iowa(70s and 80s) they could only be taken during trapping season which was roughly the 1st week in Nov through January and could not be taken with a firearm only by trapping

It looks like last year the season was from Nov. 3 to Jan. 31, but you may want to look at the DNR website.
