I am wanting to learn a few basic bowsmithing things like putting on a peep site, cam tuning, nocking point adjustment, etc, etc.
Do you guys know of any good books or dvds that would would go over the basics? My nearest bow shop is 30 miles away and it's kind of a pain to have to drive over there every time I need something done.
None of these things look too complicated when I watch them do it (nothing ever does when it's done by an expert! ), but in my youth, I did some of my own gunsmithing & before I actually knew what I was doing I messed a few things up that took substansially longer to fix than if I would have had someone who knew what they were doing do it in the first place.
I know you can only learn by doing, but when I screwed up my guns, I had spares....I don't have a spare bow so I'd at least like some sort of guidelines.
