Batteries and Chargers for my Homebrews

I've just completed 2 homebrews using SSS boards with P41's. They turned out great and now I want to get serious about batteries. I'm looking at using Sanyo 2700 Ma NiMH's or Powerex, same size. For a charger, the LaCrosse BC-900. Any comments or better suggestions?

As far as chargers, get one that will charge each cell seperatly. Its also nice to have one that will discharge each cell before it charges it.

I am not sure what they are call but Rayonvac like Sanyo now make a NiMH that doesn't discharge while idle.

I dont have anything to compare them to, but I am really happy with my Powerex 2700Ma AA's, they last longer than I expected them to. After the first charge I intentionally ran a set of them down in my GPS, even with the screen light on I didnt think the things were ever going to die.
I also bought the Powerex charger, I think its the C204W model, which also has the discharge and trickle charge features. Downside is that it only holds 4 batteries.

When they are new be sure to fully discharge and charge them a couple times before use use them. It makes a world of differance...

I ordered some of the Sanyo but will probably get some of the powerex also. The charger I ordered will charge at different rates, discharge, etc. Thanks for the info guy!
