batteries

My buddy had his truck broken into. He went & bought a Predator?IR trail camera that takes 10 AA batteries. He set it up & his batteries were "dead" the next morning w/ 2 pics. He brought it to work & the batteries regained power as they warmed up above 40 degrees. He wants to know what you guys are using for batteries in cold temps.

I have never had this problem but my camera uses Cs & not AAs.

I use Duracell, I have never had any problem at all. I have pics from days that it got down in the single digits. As JBAGS says, lithium are awsome.

I've had lithiums last one day in cold temps...any chance the batteries themselves were "old" before purchase?

For some reason I've had that problem with regular Energizers (maybe coincidence?) and no problems with Duracell or Energizer Lithiums
