Bedliner: Line-X ?

INative

Hey guys, I'm looking to get a bedliner put on my truck soon. I was thinking line x but I can't find any reviews for the dealer in Des Moines. I think the dealer is called American toppers or something like that. Has anyone used them?

I also called another dealer called t&t line X out of Nevada iowa and got the exact same quote. The weird thing is, the place in Des Moines said the job would take 1.5 hours while the guy from t&t said it would take 3 hours.

Has anyone dealt with either of these places? What kind of results have you had? Any suggestions?

Thanks!

I can not speak for either place's in Iowa, but I can tell you one thing , from Il, , We used Quincy line X and will say the line X bed liner was the best investment ever,. Fantastic people to work with, 6 year's later, and the line x liner still looks like new, and trust me it has been put to the test-wink- I can not remember for certain , but I think it was closer to the 3 hour time frame, before our truck was ready for pickup,
Maybe this link will help you out

Actually when we get the extra fund's, we plan on not only line x ing the entire under carriage of the truck , the lawn mower will be done as well,

I believe Total Truck did my first truck(part of the deal from Karl's). Thought they did a fine job. My last truck the guy in Nevada did it I am pretty sure. Think they do all trucks bought at George White. I am satisfied from both places.

I was wondering about Karl's. I haven't contacted them yet but I might tomorrow. I just dot like throwing down $600 for a some material and a couple hours of labor

line-x is way better than a bed liner. I have had both and bedliners are way to slick and things slide around very easily.

Like my line-x. Don't know about the installers you are talking about. Don't think they can mess it up though.

One thing about the line-x is it has damaged some of my hunting equipment dragging it in and out. I lay a piece of cardboard down so it doesn't tear stuff up.

Good to know guys. Ill be checking those dealerships. I was quoted 480 and another 80 for covering the bed rails. I'm pretty sure if that was for standard spray. I was thinking premium ( next step up from standard) because research tells me it doesn't fade but standard spray will.

You will love the Line-X, talk with you local guys if they do a lot of work for one dealer they will often times give you a discount, was able to get 25% off my last install. Can't help you with your local guys but you will love the liner.

Oh and it is gonna be longer than 1.5hrs, I waited around for my last one and it was about a 3 hour ordeal. T

I made an appointment for tomorrow afternoon. Going with line-x premium so hopefully it won't fade. This stuff is pricey though. 480 for standard, + 80 for over the bed rails, +100 for premium. Throw in taxes and we're talking 700 dollars!! I really hope this is worth it cause my fiancé is going to crap a brick when I tell her how much it is. Lol I'll just tell her we aren't married yet! It's my money for now!!

She will get you back when she orders the wedding cake! Good post as I was interested in doing something similar with my truck soon.
