We did some TSI on a few acres (mostly oak/hickory hardwoods) two years ago. Followed it up that same late winter/early spring with a timber burn. It now has a ton of beggars lice (Hackelia virginiana) and we're wondering on how to control that. I've done a bit of looking online and some say it's a good deer browse but man alive it makes things miserable if you get off a trail. Any luck with timing of burns or something like that?
Or -should we do nothing and just let it be?
