Beginner's Luck

My buddy Andrew had a bow given to him a year ago and I've been nagging him ever since to get the thing set up and get to shooting. Well, he finally did today. So he came over tonight for a little practice session at my house. He was shooting 4 or 5 inches right and wanted to see if it was his form or his sights. So I handed him my bow and he let one fly. The kid hasn't shot 25 arrows in his whole life and he does this...

Well I know my bow is nuts on so I think he needs some work on his mechanics. Not a bad way to start out shooting.

His very next shot, by the way, hit the red rail on my tool cart and shattered his arrow. He's down to 4 arrows already.

It could be his bow also and not his form. Form must of been good on that shot anyway.

Alot of guys go a long time before they ever accomplish that. I just know now to aim for a different spot

He was aiming for the top center diamond with my bow and his and was consistently 4 or 5 inches right. I was dead center in the diamond with both bows so I assumed it's him and not his bow.

I hope to NEVER accomplish that! Arrows are expensive!
