This is the best buck I've gotten on camera, Pulled the card today, pic is from almost 2 weeks ago, no recent ones of him. Nothing special on cam so far, our growth is way..way..behind. He's got decent brows, looking at the upward swing of his beams I'd like to guess I recognize him but I definately need some more photos.

These have been far more common than older bucks.

By the way, anyone else besides me thinks this way of posting pics kinda stinks?

I think it is in my area. Province wide it stays fairly stable due to hunting but I live in what's considered "forest fringe" and I only know a handful of people that hunt bears on the fringe so recruitment of animals is much higher than the loss due to harvest numbers.

When I first moved here I was happy to see a few bears a year. It seems sightings just get more common each year. I believe I've laid eyes on over 20 bears this spring and summer just from my truck window within a few miles of home. I'm sure some were repeat bear sightings but it's gotten to the point where you almsot expect to see a bear while doing daily runarounds in the country.
