Best game cart?

Shopping for a two wheel game cart. They seem to range in price and quality. Anyone have one they would recommend? I am 6'2 and wondered if some would be too short. Basspro in Altoona was sold out so I couldn't lay my hands on one to test it out. Thanks!!

I've used a couple of styles of carts and all I can really say is make sure the wheels are in the center of the cart. One cart I had the wheels were off centered a bit and you actually end up holding a lot more weight than you would like. Hated that thing. Bigger tires are better, also.

But I can't help but to mention that I now use a jetsled to do my hauling. Definitely worth thinking about.

Slides easily over just about anything.
You can tip the front up to your tailgate and lift it right in all by yourself. Blood and everything stays in the sled so no need to wash out your truck bed. Hook the rope to an ATV if you want to pull it. Just to name a few. I know I'll never go back to a cart.

Otherwise good luck, hope this helps.

I have the big game magnum cart. It is the best one I have used. The cabelas magnum cart is a good one too. Don't buy a cheap little one. They suck and aren't even worth it.

Thanks to both of you guys. My brother uses a sled. He likes it, but then told me to check out the carts. I'll look at both before I decide. I won't go cheap as I want this to work. It will be me and my 11 year old daughter, so getting the deer out will be me. :)

I got a cheap $50 dollar one and I would recommend spending a little more on a decent one. Doe fit in mine fine, but bucks are so long and heavy that they don't balance in it and you end up holding the brunt of the weight and working pretty hard. I think it depends on what kind of terrrain you're gonna be going through as to whether to get a sled or cart. If you gotta drag it a long ways through a cut crop field then I would get a sled. But if you are gonna be covering alot of ground on farm lanes or grassways then the wheels come in handy.

Google (nxt shot versacart) click on second link with game carrier at end of address. it is supposed to be the best cart ever made. Too expensive for me but everyone I know who has used one claims nothing else out there compares to it.

I have had the Cabelas magnum for about 12 years it has hauled close to 30 deer out plus a elk. It is still work to get them out but it is better then dragging

Well, I went with the Big Game Carry-All. More than I originally wanted to spend on one, but it should last and should work. Holds 500lbs, so I should be able to put my deer, pack, bow, and maybe daughter on that baby and roll it out. :)

Sounds to me if you we're able to concieive a child at 52 I'd bet you can just throw that deer over your shoulder and hit a trot outta there. Would make a good commercial for viagra or another ED company
