I'm having trouble finding a site that is easy to use. Any suggestions? I'd prefer a site that can also be accessed via a mobile browser.

Yes,,the national weather service site,either desmoines or quad cities, you can get local area, or statewide totals, for past 24 hrs after each rainfall.
