I'm thinking of asking for a trail camera for my birthday this year and I was wondering, what is the best trail camera you can get for around $100??

Moultrie D-50 is a great camera. They run about $85. I have three and they work great, good pictures and solid battery life. One of them is 4 or 5 years and and still working well.

Lots of other models out there that are good. You are gonna be addicted to them when you start. Like Christmas morning every time you check them.

Yep love checking mine almost as fun a shooting a hoggg.....

NOTE: stay away from the Bishkek at Walmart, I tried them this year two cameras wnet back to the store and got my money back, I am now going to buy a moultrie

I just picked up a hunten black ir from scheels. haven't had a chance to put it out yet but it gets very good reviews for a cam in the 100 dollar price point. A good place to go for cam reviews is www.chasingame.com.

Covert CA 3.0 or 4.0. You can do some searching around online. I found mine for just over $100. I think these are awesome little cameras. Take good pictures and are very small and concealed.

Me and my brother have 16 moultrie m-80's and an assortment of a lot of other stuff from covert, cuddeback, wgi, hunten, Bushnell, even have a few tascos from wally world. If I were buying more I would either go with the moultrie m-80 or covert ca 3.0. Both great cameras, have a covert reveal being shipped as we speak, can't wait to test that big bright flash out
