Big Game Treestand deer cart

Lack of options in the area forced me to buy a Big Game Treestands deer cart. It has the 20 inch wheels and seems pretty solid but was wondering if anyone has any input on the product. Thanks.

Is it the cart that is 23"x82" with 500# capacity? I have tried a lot of the carts and in my opinion most work pretty well if you are on mostly level ground. If your cart has the 20'' tires that are prefectly verticle they tip over easy.I would want a cart that has tires that tip in for more stabilty. Also the waist strap used for pulling your cart didn't work well for me...I have more of 24 pack abs than 6 pack.

damn you got one with 20's! BIG PIMPIN........................... is it a lowrider?:drink2:

The best one I have found so far is the Cabelas Big Game Cart. Is that the same one? I have an ameristep one that sucks really bad. It sits too high and tips.

This one isn't Cabelas brand but it does sit pretty low to the ground when I compare it to others I've used. Great thing is I can return it if need be and it doesn't work well.

It seems like the parts I always lose are the pins to set them up. Seems like the nuts always fall off after riding around in the truck or through the woods. That is the main thing I would be looking at making sure is squared away.

I have one just like you are talking about and really like it. The big wheels make the difference. I have loaded many a doe doubles on it with no problems. Once you have the pins tightened down I suggest wrapping some duct tape around them so they don't work loose during bumpy transports.

I'm not sure what brand JNRBronc has but one of the plastic wheels snapped off at the hub last year. Being the resourceful guy he is he just made a caveman type wooden wheel and duct taped it on.

Muddy we have used the one ou are looking at for FEW years now .. Works fine, just make sure to add a couple ratchet straps to tie the load in better. Also a 10' rope up near the handle helps to bring them up hills and creek banks

I already put some 3 foot bungees on it but a few extra ratchets are easy as well. Treating it like its not indestructable should be the key.

make sure you tie down the head and feet so they don't get in the way. that can be a pain in the butt.

I bought the big game 500# cart that Scheels sells last year. Scheels had the best game cart that Iowa had to offer, better then what Bass Pro or Sportsmans warehouse carried. I usually find that Scheels has the best of anything as far as buying locally. I used it last year and was very impressed. Well made and tough. I painted the chrome wheels and spokes camo, in case I wanted to use it for transporting stuff to the woods also. It moved 5 deer out of the woods last year, and it performed very well. I researched a lot before I bought this one. Disassembles easily for transportation. I am very happy with it:way:

I also have a 7 pulley block and tackle and rope, so I can pull the cart with ease up ravines. For the most part, I prefer boning deer where they drop, and packing the meat out like elk, but with the Big Game brand cart and my pulley system, if I want to take the whole deer to donate to the HUSH program, I can with ease.
