Whos going on a outta state hunt for some big game and where...I'm not traveling outta state but gonna tackle some game up here like sheep moose bear or what ever offers a ethical shot and I have a tag for it...

I am going to head to Ohio and hook up with SplitG3, and try to take a good buck up there this year. NR license are not too expensive so it make it easier for my wallet to accomodate.

It all depends on the luck of the draw.

Iowa hopefully. Have 1 point preference. CO Sheep. AZ Elk. MT Moose and Goat. Still haven't heard from a buddy of mine but might be heading on a late Caribou hunt that is as cheap as they get and is a real slaughter.

If none of this works out I will spend my week vacation in November trying NE out. Or else I'll head out to my dads for a meat shotgun hunt in MN. Haven't hunted with him in a few years.

So many things to kill, so little time.

Planning on a montana antelope archery hunt, ks muzzleloader, and mo bowhunt. Just got back from a hog hunt a few days ago.

Kelcher-

I am far from full of cash however I have saved enough over 10 years to have a liscense war chest to pull from every year to put in for limited area tags.

I have done the estimating on the price of all these trips and because I will do them w/o an outfitter they are not terribly expensive. These prices included everything- doorstep to doorstep and liscenses.

CO Sheep- $3000
AZ Elk- $1500
MT Goat- $1500
MT Moose $1500
Caribou $1500
Iowa deer $1150
Mn deer $400
NE deer $700

The top four I would be happy drawing any of those once in my life. The caribou trip we are on a waiting list for.Iowa is every other year if were lucky and MN and NE are when ever we don't draw any of these. I always spend a week in November hunting my home state. Believe it or not my hunting budget in a year is only $1200.
I'm very frugal but it works. This money also includes $200 for all the hunting orgs and Nra memberships.
