As the first bow season here in Iowa is drawing to an end, I was just wondering what the biggest deer you have seen this year while bowhunting is, and what part of the year you saw him. The biggest buck I saw this year was a 170"class 10-pointer, i saw him on November 21st.

From Nov 6th until the 14th, I saw numerous deer that were 150 or better and ended up killing a 170 inch buck on the 14th. I saw a great deal of good ones this fall but nothing over 175.

16 point typical on multiple occasions from about 75-80 yards from my stand each time...come 1st shotgun he'll be in my freezer and headed to the taxidermist!!!

, sorry I couldn't resist we just don't have the animals here that you fortunate Iowans do!!!

190" typical. Apparently he has a drop tine, but he was too far away for me to tell. Other than that I've seen a few of 150's, but nothing huge.

I don't know Madison B+C, where I live, a 190 inch typical is huge. If you growem bigger than that, I will trade you a guideed Illinois hunt for a guided Iowa hunt, what do you say?

Definately not the one I shot!!! I saw 2 170-175 5x5's and what was hands down the biggest deer I've ever seen live. I'd guess close to 200 gross typical 5x6. I saw him twice during muzzleoader season. I know some may be sceptical but we grow them that big up here, not many, but the odd one gets taken, more likely live their lives without ever being seen. He haunts my dreams at night!!

Laid eyes on 6 that would make Boone. Tha largest a strong 190's typical. One of my best years for buck sightings and this was the first year in a few that I didn't take any vacation to hunt.
