No excuses Bukket.....I won't get my sight back until this Friday from Trophy Ridge. If I can swing it I'll be shooting down in Mt. Pleasant on Saturday.

I really wish I could go.
I made the mistake of tearing into the bow before turkey season and then it got pushed to the back of the bench. I still haven't decided what I'm going to bolt onto it new this year....perhaps I can make up my mind and get the stuff ordered before next Sunday!
1st one I've been to and I had a blast. Didn't shoot to well and the course ate 2 arrows but the fun overweighed my score and the arrows by a long ways. Thanks Critr for getting me interested!

Yes, it was a good time. I didn't arrive until 10:45, saw alot of IA Whitetail stickers in back windows, only had the chance to talk to one. It was interesting up on the back hill in the open area. I would be anchored and ready to release when a big gust of wind would hit me and make me move a little. Had to play the wind a little on 13 with the big buck and the 46 yard shot. Also saw where someone had done a big slide down the gully coming down after 16, that was greasy. Great course, ran through well, and was glad to see alot of youth with some adults. Hope to see some of you at some upcoming shoots.
great shoot, but LONG day. i think they could have made a couple minor changes and had the shoot run quicker/smoother. i too saw lots of IW stickers. only member i saw was elkhunter, playing "bow caddy" for his grandson. unless randy was shooting the blue genesis
Other than a little wind, I thought the shoot was great. I think I might of pulled some muscles in my back shooting off the saddle, but I'm sure I'll survive.
Got to chat a little with Elkhunter and Baggin Bucks on the way in and out, look forward to meeting up with some of you at some future shoots.
