Well, I'm having a blast running cameras this Summer. If you think it sounds fun but have yet to jump the fence...JUMP!

I wanted to wait and post some big buck pictures from the new cuddeback but the big boys aren't helping out much right now.

I will say that the homebrew camera's that Vman and Shredder are building are miles ahead of any manufactured camera for the price. The picture quality from the P-41 Sony's is uncomparable. When you start running several camera's I can tell you that being able to pull out the Sony and check your pictures right on the spot is a super great feature.

Thanks to Vman, Shredder and CAMOUP for all the fun I've been having.

First picture digital Cuddeback and second picture Sony homebrew.

Nice picts Ghost.. Why is it so great to be able to view your picts out in the field?? You are just viewing them on a 2inch screen. I think it is much better to take the card home on view them on my TV screen.. Just wondering what other features are better on the home brews?? I might be interested in trying on. I have try about everything out there and would like to try one to see for myself.. I can never have enough camera's.. Thanks for any info.....

I have had the retail versions and Vman turned me onto the homebrews...I prefer them by a long shot. The two inch screen is awesome to get a quick glipse and you can zoom on a pic if you need to see closer detail. As far as pic quality, in posted ics between cddeback and homebrews, you wont see a difference but in actual ics, you can see alot. Vman can build you one if you would like Camo, I think you will see a great bit of difference between the two....as far as the speed????, I will take the home versions as I think they take better pics.

CAMOUP...I like to view them right at the camera. I can then make a quick decision if I want to move the camera or not. I do have one camera the remains on my main mineral site, but I like to be as mobile as possible with the others. It's not really a major deal, just fun to view the pictures right away.

Hey ghost Who do I contact about buying a home brew?? I know some say to build it yourself but I rather buy one ready to go.. thanks

Those are simply fantastic photos!!!! I hope to have a little spare loot next summer b/c I'd love to do what you've been doing this summer. Kudos to the camera builders.

Ghost,
You nailed it there. Being able to see them in the field is great. Escpecially during hunting season!
