What kind of holster do you have for your .44 mag? I have the same gun you have in a .41, with a 2x6 scope, and I don't like the holster that I have for it.
 
This is the holster that i have. The only differance is that mine has a snap flap over the top. It's nice because you can carry your muzz and pistol at the same time.

Thats the one I have as well. What do you do to keep the gun from floppin upside down? Thats the only reason I don't like it.

I have the same one (looks the same) and it does flop over once in awhile, but I also keep my strap snapped over it so it doesn't fall out since I dropped my gun out of a tree once. :thrwrck: Only thing I don't like about snapping it is it makes way too much noise unsnapping it when a deer is coming.
 
I keep mine snaped so it doesn't fall out. I also keep it under my coat when i'm walking. That's the biggest holster i could find for my gun!
 
I keep mine strapped, but it still sways a bit and flip flops around. Guess its time to invent something :grin:

Same thing I was thinking when I saw the pic. Rig the bottom portion to your belt somehow. Either a loop like RNS said or even a short teather of some sort?? Just thinkin and that's dangerous for me. :D
