Blazer Test

Well.....I was a little skeptical at first about using the Blazer Vanes, but after picking up a pack and testing them out against my old 4 inchers, I think I'll probably switch over. There's probably not a huge difference between the two of them, a little bit of weight, maybe a little noise, but they're a heck of a-lot easier and quicker to attach to your arrow, not to mention you only use half the glue.
Both arrows are shot from 40 yards using 100gr Montec practice heads, the only difference is the vanes. I duplicated the shot twice more, the results were nearly identical. And yes, I know, I'll do a little "tweaking" before October first to make sure they're hitting the bullseye and not below it.

I shot muzzy practice heads with them last week and they seem to be shooting better that they did for me last year. To be fair I have change several thing on my setup, but I believe the Blazers have improve my arrow flight with the muzzy heads.

Switched to Blazers this year. They have greatly improved my Muzzy's flight. Just the thing I'll need for longer distance shooting at elk next month in Colorado.

Critrgitr....Is there a reason that you have your Blazers fletched so far forward? I think it looks cool! I've got some to try and I'll think I'll fletch them like yours.
