Blazers and Broadheads

Someone who I highly respect told me I shouldn't be shooting 2 inch blazers with broadheads. The packaging on the blazers mentioned the shorter balzers are not suited for broadheads but gives the ok to the 2 inch version.

My groupings seem fine but I wonder if they could be better by going back to 4 inch vanes. Should I heed his advice or feel comfortable with what I have?

Well, all I can saw is that I saw a noticeable improvement switching from 4" vanes to 2" Blazers with my fixed blade broadheads and I don't have any intentions of switching back!

Ditto, blazers are the best thing they have come out with since the invention of training wheels on bows JMO

I'm with them, but I shoot expandables.

Blazers rule, get a small pack and try it out on a few arrows, I'll bet you're gunna be happy with the results. If not, buy white ones, I'll buy the rest off ya!

My blazers are steering muzzys straight into the bullseye out to 60 yards, I don't think I could get any better

Ditto & Ditto. No way I'll ever switchback to 4".

I switched to 2" blazers this summer and they are great! My thunderheads shoot just fine with them.

I am switching to 2in Speed hunters from 4in feathers. Which is a Quik Spin version of the blazer.

They shoot Muzzys AWESOME out of my bow. I asked the guy that I buy my archery stuff from and he said fixed blades out of blazers or speed hunters are good if your bow is tuned correctly. He said if your bow isnt tuned they are the worst thing you could do they throw your arrows all over.

IMO I think this has to do with any vane, blazer or any stabilizing device on a arrow with a fix blade broadhead not just a blazer vane. Arrow must spin true with a fix blade BH to get maximum potential out of the arrow flight.
