Has anyone done any experimentation fletching 2" Blazers to see how far foward they should be located from the nock? I'm getting ready to try some and was just curious.

I've got mine about 1 1/4" from the bottom of the nock. I did have my last ones a bit farther but decided to shorten up the distance a little. Haven't shot my new arrows yet, so I don't know what kind a difference it will make. From what I've read they recommend about an 1" to 1 1/2". If they are too close, they may touch your face.

I just start mine the same distance from the nock as regular fletching, no problems here.

i had some fletched too far forward and they were contacting the rest before the arm had fully dropped. i fletch them same as the others, and have no problem. i would think, that the closer to the rear, the more stabilization
