Blazers

I was considering using 2" Blazers to improve upon fixed blade broadhead performance and was wondering who shoots them and what kind of success you have had with them.

Thanks

Kratz

I made the switch at the same time I switched to G5 Montec broadheads and the combination shoots like my field tips. But I think that is due more to the Montecs than the Blazers. The Blazers have been flying great on the field tips and holding up really well to a Whisker Biscuit.

Do 'em up, they rule. I have some you can use if you want to try 'em. Should've told ya that yesterday, my bad.

I switched to 2" Blazers a couple of months ago and have been shooting better groups from 20-40 yards. They have been great with my 100gr., Thunderheads. Good luck

I've had four dozen arrows come in this morning alone. All wanting blazers. I guess somebody must be shooting them.

I don't mean to hijack this topic but have any of you tried those NAP Quikspins? I haven't heard anything about them or the blazers...

I've never tried them myself but I've had a few guys try them and then come back and put on blazers. Somebody on another website did a comparison once. He had 6 arrows with quickspins and 6 with blazers. 3 of each had field tips and 3 had broadheads. They all grouped about the same but the quickspins with broadheads grouped consistently 3" or so lower than anything else. Also said they were a little more noisy.

As far as durability between the two. Blazers hands down...

For me, I don't need to switch or try anything different. Great groups with field points and broadheads, Quiet, and Durable...

For Whisker Bisquit shooters there's nothing better.

i had a couple arrows set up with quickspins. accuracy was fine, but their durability SUCKS. i've been trying some blazers on the 3d course, and they have been great. i'm putting them on my hunting arrows

I talked to the guys at CIA and they said the quick spins were had good groupings at 40 yards or more and inside of that they weren't that consistant.

I switched to Blazers on my Beman arrows a month ago, and tried them with Muzzy 100 grain heads today. At 20 and 30 yards they flew just like they did with my field points. I'm real pleased with them.

THANK YOU FOR POINTING ME IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION!! I got 4 arrows with new blazer vanes and they are awesome! I got the low down on the quick spins and they all said the same things you did. Thanks for the help.

I just got my arrows back from the pro shop.(jjohnson). I haven't given them the full test, but the shots I have taken here (30 yards) I am very impressed. Can't wait to shoot s'em some more. Thanks to Jusitn and Jeremy at Sportmans Unlimited there great.

After hearing you fellas talk about them for months, I bought some blazers and put them on my gold tips. After shooting for a couple of months with field points I finally put on my practice blade and wow -- what a difference. For the first time ever I'll not be adjusting my sights for October. The arrows seem not only to fly accurately, they even look better in the air than the field points. I'm very happy you guys pointed me in this direction!
