Blind ideas

I would like to build a permanent elevated blind on our farm that I could bow and gun hunt out of. It needs to be big enough for two adults and a child. I have my double bull up in the spot now, but strong winds and ice storms do the portable blind no favors. I have now replaced broken rod ends 4 times over the past three seasons. I need something sturdier. I have a supply of old telephone poles that I plan on cutting up and using as supports.

Anyone have any ideas, plans, or pictures of something they have made or use?

Mole,
I have a friend of mine who has done just exactly what you're describing with the poles. His stands 20' up in the air and is very solid. He did set the poles with concrete and used plenty of 2 by 4's for bracing all up to the platform. Once the floor was built, he assembled the walls at his home and brought them out on a trailer. Two guys lifted the walls up one at a time from the platform until they were all up. He used a lean-to style roof on it, and absolutely loves it. The only thing he plans on changing is making the windows more vertical than horizontal for bowhunting purposes. He hunts with his two kids and wife every year out of the stand, and last I knew, he was planning on building a second.

20' might be a little high for my area. The window problem is my biggest hang up. I wanted some opinions on how to make the blind a double duty stand. Other than the height this sounds perfect. Got any pics, I'm a visual learner
