Last night. I just got all settled when all of a sudden a big gust of wind lifted my Matrix above me and sent it rolling about 200 yards across the field. Luckily there were trees to stop it, or else it would be in Minnesota by now.

I hear you there I had to stake the crap out of mine this morning. And to try shooting an arrow with a 30mph crosswind!!! Ahhh.

That's no good. That's an expensive kite to be flying. hope it didn't scare all the turkeys out of the county.

Hey, it's not that I didn't have it staked down, my stakes just weren't hurricane proof! /forum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/crazy.gif

I found this out last night as well. I had it staked down and the hub blew in with the south wind with my gobbler only about 20-25 yards out needless to say the gobbler was no longer approaching for a shot. Frustrating!!! /forum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/mad.gif
