Blood Lights...review

Last night I was able to use my new Gerber blood tracking light. Needless to say, didnt really need it with the amount of blood, but since I am red/green color blind, I couldnt see much of it. Well after using that light, I could see all kinds of it. Some may think they are a waste of money, but for me, that light was the best aid I could have had in recovery. Big thumbs up from me on that light..just wanted to let everyone know...

Can I ask, Im NOT color blind. What does blood normally look like to you? What did the blood look like with the light?

I used one Labor Day when I shot my bear, didnt need it with the tracking string, but a buddy had one with so I flipped it on and followed some blood trail. It made the blood look black and really shiney.

For me, usually the blood just blends with the green and browns of the leaves. I usually can only see blood on the lightest leaves. With the light, it jumped out a bright red. It was a great tool last night in the tracking of my deer..my stepdad practically was running down the trail..I couldnt see hardly any blood until I kicked on my light and saw the same thing he did.

I have the gerber carnivore, imo it makes a better flashlight than bloodtracker. I can't see the blood in bloodtracker mode and I am not colorblind. I would like to the new primos in action.
