How long do you think it will be until we have a statewide season for bobcats? We are seeing a lot more in Benton County lately and I hear more and more about them up North.

We have plenty in Allamakee- Mitchell- and Cerro Gordo. Oddly, our Buchanon County farm we haven’t seen one yet

Still going to be awhile IMO. The counties that don’t have a season. Should report sightings and release catches to their county CO. Only way they get a good read on numbers. I know only one guy was reporting his bobcat catches a few counties over and as soon as he got other trappers to report them they opened the county.

Doesn’t seem to be a stable population on the ground I hunt, varies year to year on cameras.
