Cool!! That is one big beaver. The tail slap from that guy would sound like a high-po...

Well done. Only trappers can say they love getting big fat beavers with a smile on thier face and mean it................

Wow that looks big ! One guy said he had one once at 80 lbs ?? Can they get that big ?

Oh yes they can!

This one is 12 pounds shy of 80, got it a couple years ago. Not trying to hijack the thread - nice beaver man! Gotta love getting those things....they are my favorite critter to trap. How did you get that one? This one fell victim to a 220 that was set for coons...not really sure how it's head fit in the trap! I haven't trapped them in a couple seasons now...I need to get back after them.

Man trapping sure isn't what it used to be. Can't be in it for the money, just for the love of doing it. Sold a bunch last week and averaged 4 dollars a coon. Great catch though. Major pest to farmers.

Nice beaver, you should eat it, they make good bologna. Sofaking, they eat plants and tree bark. Absolutely love corn, I've seen them wipe out over an acre more than once.
