bow case input

Hard case or soft case?

I saved up and got a SKB hard case a few years back, I have not regretted that decision as it's bomb proof and I'll never need a new one. Yes, they're expensive but when my first one had one of the latches go to crap because I shut it with the latch turned inside and it broke off I called the company and they shipped me a new one no questions asked. I also like them because they're airline approved and IF I ever go on a big trip my bow is already set for the journey.

As far as soft cases go, I liked the Primos one as well as the SKB cases.

If you don't care much about the case a soft case for $20 at Cabelas or Scheels will do the trick though they're not much at keeping moisture out.

Just for basic storage and travel I like my plano hard case. Not the best one out there, but hard to beat for $25. Not sure how much they cost now.

Both of these guys gave great advice. Tarnatula sales a nice double bow case here. I had a Cabelas cheap one for years and the zippers finally junked out.

I agree with that.

Don, again, new case with 2 bows, I'm starting my own bug killing services as it will beat donating plasma. ;) :D

Yea TR. I have a plano and a flambeau hard case, and both will hold your bow and quiver. Quiver has to be detached and laid in separately.

I was looking at the SKB hunter series and you can leave the quiver on the bow but are quite a bit more $.

If you can wait a day or two I can take some pics of my SKB for ya. Mine you're unable to leave the quiver on the bow when you shut it, but that makes it MUCH more stable and safe while transporting. Since it takes about 1.5 seconds to attach an Alpine quiver it doesn't bother me.
