My wife and i have been married for 30 years, and in all those years, I've shot archery. In those years she has casually mentioned learning to shoot maybe a half dozen times and to be quite honest, I never took her seriously.
Well...............a month or so ago, I mentioned to her that a woman co-worker had asked me to teach her to shoot archery. The reaction was unexpected. "You are not going to teach anyone to shoot until you teach me!"
I had this riser laying around collecting dust so I picked up a set of 30# limbs for it and made her some arrows. I threw it together this morning and took it for a test drive. These are the first 4 arrows shot from it at 20 yds. With a little more tweaking after she gets it for Christmas, it should be a great one for her to learn with.
